That nut,I know only too well being the owner of a RRC and a D1 makes one wonder if the designing engineer had ever tried to fit or remove these.

A bit like some road markings, look OK on paper in a design office

You don't have the correct tool to grip the shock absorber?

    How sad!

The heater core in a RRC! Seems like you have to dismantle the whole car to get to it. Did mine a year ago and now the fan has seized

Most pipe wrenches won't fit between the coils - but I have one that will!

After coming from an 80 series landcruiser with a 1HZ I hate how tightly packed everything is in the D3 for doing any maintenance work. But Im sure any newer model car is very similar as well so its not really a specific LR issue. I guess I just need to get used to loosing more bark of the hands than normal

    D4 door handle

I'm about 6'1" in the old language, and my right knee rests against the front rh metal piece of the door handle. On long trips it gets bloody sore, and I have resorted to using a piece of adhesive rubber padding. Works fine but very annoying placement.

The "hidden bolt" on a Td5 fuel pressure reg. (D2) is the worst I've struck so far.
