I don't know about that one as I would need to change it to 4.1's and lock it so would be easier to just bolt in my diff.

Sold my fully locked and loaded 1986 Rangie for a 1998 130 DPCU 300 TDI just in the last few weeks. I went for a 300 TDI after seeing 5 x TD5's at my mates workshop all with melted pistons and/or warped heads on vehicles with very low kms.

Yes...the 130 is not as comfy as the rangie, but you can go 35 x 12.5's without doing much, just a 2" lift is needed.

They are very agricultural to drive and not as quick as my V8, but maybe the 4BDT might be the way to go if that is the engine you are use to.

I would be moving a lot of the Rangie gear over, like front seats with armrests etc, as well as moving them across and back, and probably a tapered wedge on the top bolts of the pedal box to tilt the pedals down a bit so the hope would be a bit more comfy than a stocker deefer.
