Now if you had bought a Defender, you would not have had that problem. Defenders are built without pretty little logos in the middle of the hubs, so Defender owner's wives don't get confused and Defender owners get their cups of coffee on time.

    She's not that silly.

Some cars have stationary hubcap advertising

So do trucks (though only the hub centre as you need to see the nuts for safety reasons).

As mentioned, other luxury cars never intended to go offroad have stationary logos in the hubs - the D3/D4/newRR should be no different

Why do I get the feeling that you are either single or like living dangerously?

    1. I have only been married 30 years so I'm still learning.
    2. This is a woman that is so logical it's scary but still comes up with off the wall ideas.
    3. Some how, probably to placate her, I ended up making her a Cappuccino. Love DeLonghi!
    4. Your bum always looks good to me, Darling. But you know I don't know about fashion.
    5. It is a cool idea. But at the time seemed really dumb.
6 I used the tyres off reason because that was the first reason that came to me.
    7. Last time I said "Woman do....." I had a very quiet couple of years if you know what I mean.
    8. She will remember this incident for years.

Well you know it is really you who are silly. The real reason is because the wheels cover different distances. If you rotated them so they were all the same way up then drove around the block they would be (slightly) different.

If he had bought a defender his wife would have had to have been taking meals out to him.

My wife and I have just enjoyed our 30th wedding anniversary 2 days ago. The one thing I have learned in all that time is:

    Happy wife = happy life

    Also answers like:

'Yes dear' or 'Will that make you happy...' seem to work for me. I must use the line from an earlier post 'I just don't know fashion very well...' that may even work for me.

As to the hubs and coffee situation I would have answered something like 'Gee I don't know...[feigning ignorance works]. All women like to think they are smarter than men.

    Good luck fellas.
