After 12 months of putting it off, I pulled out the el cheapo 4WD Supercenter impact driver and changed all my original Land Rover nuts over to solid ones.
Can't see any difference, but at least I know they are done.
Then torqued everything up to 140nm.
Will check the nuts tightness over the next week to make sure they stay done up.

Yes, solid ones. I collected them on a trip to the US earlier this year, but ordered them on Fleabay.
The description was 20 Chrome 14x1.5 Lug Nuts for Land Rover Factory Aluminum Wheels - Mag Seat and they came from a mob called dpaccessories.
From memory they were under US$50 and no shipping as I brought them home in my luggage.

Picked up a D4 HSE about a year ago to take over from the D2a I'd had for the last 5 years. It's been a sensational tow mule for my other toy and the performance compared to the D2 is incredible. Looking forward to getting it out in the wild soon once I get the tyres changed up.
Just purchased (still on Tassy plates)
