A few snaps of the D3 in action at Bribie Island, just over a week ago. Faultless performance on the sand (as one would expect) despite the jeers and taunts of my Patrol-owning colleagues!
One of my mates brought his Defender 110 along for reinforcements. Will add a short note to the trips section.
Cheers.

These photos etc possibly could have been in the stories thread.
Went to a family fun day yesterday not far from home. The 'Rock Solid 4WD Club' had a coarse where the general public could enter their own vehicle. I decided to give the D4 a go. The club members were blown away at how capable these things really are and couldn't stop raving about mine.
The coarse involved a mud pit with steep entry & exit, two slippery log challanges, two rock coarses, a wheel travel ramp, a mogle track & a sled pull. BTW: The D4 did the best at pulling 3 Ton on the pull sled.
Was a great day.
Still smiling despite losing a rear mudflap, scratching the bullbar and rear quarter panel. Wife didn't take it too badly.
Cheers, Craig
The 18's are on.

Normal height setting for the GOE rods is how I drive on the Black stuff,is still ok in access height and normal drive height. the front tyres only rub slightly on full left lock.
With the GOE rods in shortened mode no rubbing so far! very happy with this setup for the off road trips.
I normally drive on 20" stormer wheels with Brigstone Duler HP tyres awesome
on road (not so good offroad)

I have a mate who is a one-eyed-tunnel-vision Nissan Patrol fan. We went out bush a few weeks ago to take my D3 offroad for the first time. Whilst I didn't take the same track as he did here, it still gave me great joy to have to pull him out!
Here is a pic of the D3 with the D2a and the good old mountain goat D1.
Three quite different vehicles, all with their own unique strengths and charms though.
There are several more happy snaps of the D3 in the 'Members Rides' section.
cheers,
Terry
