The Fyrlyt 9000 24V lights come with 12 to 24 volt step-up transformers (one per light). You do not have to do anything additional to your vehicle to mount these lights.

I have them, and where I live - nothing comes near them in performance. I have a good set of HID driving lights on my work ute - the Fyrlyt's leave these for dead. Cooling issues on a D4 with these lights fitted - I've found this to be a bit of an old wife's tale. I have driven across the Nullarbor and other long distance trips in 40 plus degrees on many occasions - the only time that I have ever seen even a slight cooling issue with the D4 was once when the front of the vehicle was covered in locusts. The lights have never been an issue.
    Cheers .........

    Thanks.

The lower cost 24V lights are for 24V vehicles such as trucks, which run 24V systems. Hence the lower price for 24V 9000 setups - $630. The retial $995 price for 12V includes the voltage change hardware, which therefor costs around $180 per light or about $365 more. I presume the similarity in price between the 5000 150W lights for both 24V and 12 V setups, is that I guess the hardware to convert 12V to 24V is much cheaper for 150W globes than is the 250W 12-24Volt hardware.

    the 150W globes are 12V not 24V

ARB have said (via a distributor) that they have no plans to support front cameras in their D4 bull bars.
From what I can tell neither OL nor Tuff support them either.
Does anyone know of a bull bar to suit a 2016 D4 which will support front parking sensors and cameras please?

Is it possible to get an unpainted bar, fit sensors and camera than paint??

Not ideal and probably a little costly but you get the out come you want.

By cameras, do you mean, Adaptive Cruise Control.
I have ARB bar on 2016 D4 which has parking sensor holes, with plugs.
You can just make them out in photo.
ACC works fine, as long as number plate is mounted low enough, but they won't guarantee that. Mine works.

No not ACC, I have the surround cameras, with 2 in the corners of front bar, 2 in the mirrors and the other near the rear number plate.

Refitting the front cameras myself to a bull bar is an option, but I was warned by the ARB distributor that any modifications to the bull bar this would probably void any warranty.

    Hi
I'm finally in a position to upgrade my (technically my family's) Discovery 4. It's a 2009 model HSE with front parking sensors (I take it that part is important)

I upgraded the tyres last year. My long term plan is

    1. Bullbar

    2. UHF

    3. Winch

    4. Snorkel

I have a little 4x4 experience but I want to learn more once I actually have a car to do it in.

Since this is the bullbar thread I guess I'm after recommendations on a bull bar that will allow my front parking sensors to continue to work, and probably would allow me to install a winch. If this doesn't have to be installed when I get a bullbar installed that'd be ideal (so I can possibly buy a second hand winch).

At the moment I am looking at Opposite lock as it seems they make front parking sensor compatible bulbars?

    Thanks
