BTW, the video features a D3, but the item site definitely shows a D4 base dash.![]()
I was searching around last night and found this:
Special Car DVD Player Navi for Land Rover Discovery 4
Promotional video here:

Looks an interesting prospect - much cheaper than other options.
I have sent them a request - kicking tyres for arranging a group buy.
Let's see what they come back with!
Cheers,
Rob

Looks promising... but what's it got to do with Moonlight Sonata ;-p
Is this a straight plug in with the factory loom or is it working over the top? We still need to figure out of it talks to the canbus first. If you pull your stereo out then the battery goes flat (like mine did yesterday) how is the vehicle date & time adjusted? Mine went back to 01/01/2009 midday. I've been advised incorrect time & date will affect the fault logging.
Actually it says can-bus down the bottom. For 600 it's a cheap price considering the alternatives. I'll take one for the team & order.
Hey, well done Rob.
Looks like everyones homework is paying off.
This looks better than the Russian system...............and cheaper.
Please let me know if you wish to do a group buy.
Cheers, Craig
Happy to be the Guinea Pig Rob, but I'm not too tech savy, so wouldnt be able to pass on the pro's & con's.
Would be able to assist (financially) to someone that is willing to check it out.
Cheers, Craig
Its all good, i'm financial & have a little bit of knowledge on car audio. I purchased a Faultmate MSV-2 Extreme due to arrive next week so if I go too bad at least that may tell me whats wrong. My main concerns are how well it integrates with the vehicles Can-Bus system. I know the D3 is different to the D4 but no one seems to have the answers yet.
Cheers Rob![]()
