Before we jump too high I did find something else on the bay but I've never seen it before. It's a double din DVD in dash car-PC stereo. Seems to run on that windows CE thingy (Apple man here). I also found plug in looms to suit the lowline that will connect using the slimline 'parrot' lead.. It seems the longer we wait the more stuff comes out. I'll try & put some links up.

The depth of the unit would be the main question... the D3/D4 screen area is not standard stereo depth.

I think it is the same converter the Russian one uses. It depends on how it is configured.

Hi Les, there is one converter, it's $330 & I think from the same Russian mob. It was linked earlier in this thread I think.. I know the the size of the hole in the dash where the factory screen is exactly double din. As for the depth, I can't remember.

    Dear Robert,

    Thank you for the Email!

We are sorry to inform you that this model is out of stock and we are
not sure when the manufacter will send us the new units.

    Best Regards,
    ___________

So - I suggest we all need to hammer their web site with interest in the product. This way, they might get the message that there is a real interest in the unit and might get off their behinds and order them. Worth a try any way.

    Any other suggestions?

    Cheers,
    Rob
Sent an email to the manufacturer this morning informing them that there is quite a bit of interest amongst us LR people.
Let you know when I hear back.

    Cheers, Craig
