If you cannot get into settings by pressing the little i button on the end of the indicator stalk then the system has a fault.
Using the i button can you scroll between trip, range, av fuel use, av speed, current time and "settings".
The settings screen will say i exit on the left and enter >>! !<< on the right. The >>! !<< are the forward and back radio controls on the steering wheel.
Using these >>! !<< buttons you can scroll between each page in the menu.
1. Trip distance - km or miles
2. Fuel Usage - mpg or l/100km
3. Outside temp - c or F
4. Overspeed alarm - set speed
5. Head lamp delay - secs
6. Auto door lock - on or off
7. Rear Mirror dip on reverse - on or off
8. Reset to default
To make changes when any of the above menus then you use the radio volume controls - +/- to make the changes.
Before you go trying to make changes using an OBD2 system you need to get the settings system to work first. If it doesn't work try a hard reset on the computer system (remove battery leads and when removed touch together) - the system will reboot itself and this may fix it - maybe not as well.
Cheers
