    Lucky for me, I'd just put 60 litres into the long range tank and not the main tank.. so filled the main tank with Diesel and next day drained out a 100 litre cocktail ... what a waste

    You are right, it is attention to detail, but sometimes **** happens..

    Glad my lesson turned out to be a lot cheaper than it could have been......

    I remember talking to a guy at the LR dealer in Adelaide when the D3 was only a few weeks out on the market.

    He was forking over $20k for a new engine and fuel system on his 2 week old D3 TDV6 after his wife fuelled up and then drove (or at least attempted to drive) home...
