IIDTool for Land Rover - GAP Diagnostic
There is an attractive group buy for the Nanocom Evo at the moment.

Those of you using a Nanocom on the D4 is it worth buying one???? I was going to hold out for a Faultmate Extreme later on.They come from the same bussiness.
At the moment the Nanocom isnt listed for MY14 onwards, awaiting a reply from Colin at Black Box Solutions.

IIDTool for Land Rover - GAP Diagnostic
2003 D2a Auto TD5 good Landy gone
2015 D4 probably the most amazing yet, why get a RR?
Thanks Nicky, that looks to be a good unit, anybody got one???
I think I would prefer the Faultmate over most.
Was looking to see how the Nanocom Evo goes in the D4 seeing they were a must have item for D2 owners and many have upgraded to a D4 and kept their Nanocom.I sold my Nanocom with my D2 as it was the first generation and not compatipble with the D4.

I've got one and am very happy with it - even happier that it doesn't get used much.
When I purchased 3 years ago, I felt it was by far the best option on a bang for buck basis and have no regrets with the decision - it does everything I need it to and their support is excellent. Whether or not it currently is I can't honestly say as I haven't looked at the alternatives since I purchased. Don't think you can go too far wrong with either a Gap or Black Box product though, just a matter of picking which option represents the best value for money for you.
Cheers,
Jon
x2 for me. I haven't had it as long as Jon but I found it the best value when looking late last year and earlier this year. The Bluetooth to phone or pad is a great feature too.
Another factor for me was it seems to be a lot of other people with D3/D4s owning one, meaning another good source of help with using it or interpreting what it says.

X3 for the IID tool. Good value for the $ and easy enough to leave in the glove box all the time. And it's easy to use.

X4 for the iidtool. Support is great, device is easy to use and easy to store in car. Compare the features to others and see what you think you'll actually use - iidtool does all the big ticket ones for me.
Does anybody know where I can purchase an iidtool. Searching on internet doesn't help.
Try island4x4 and then use the model number to shop around. Personally think best to buy ex-UK as freight is minimal.
