If you have nav (I know you do Nat, you have a HSE), did you know you can get the actual vehicle speed from the secret maintenance menu? I think the actual variance is about 6%.
    Cheers,

    (107 X 1.03) + 2 = 112.21, ie +3%+2kph

I see anywhere from 10-12l/100. The wife does drive it like it's stolen and that explains the regular speeding fines that come in.

I'm in the throws of buying a brand new D4 and apart from upgrading from my ageing D2, one reason is that the new one gulps less fuel. I've kept track of my fuel usage on the D2 for years and have used a spreadsheet for the purpose. It keeps records of the road type e.g. highway, sand, towing etc so when you are planning for the big trip to the desert you will be able to see your estimated consumption for the type of driving. Before you get too amazed that my D2 goes a long way on a single tank I have 195l capacity! If you want a copy of the spreadsheet. PM me and I'll email it to you.

    Hi,

A recent trip of 3960km towing an Ultimate camper at or near GVM on camper and 200kg short on 2012 D4 8 speed GVM yeilded 13.2lts/100km with an ave speed of 82km/hr. About 43% was all off road.

Very happy with the overall result given the mods, extra roof wind load and near GVM limits. Furthermore the 40% off-road was with added rolling resistance of 19" down to 28psi.

    Regards

I assume you have ferreted through every sub-menu there is and have come up with zilch which says to me that LR have removed this info.

On my car it is under the "Vehicle Signals" menu (the voltage is also displayed here).

I'll see if I can find it on my other half's Evoque when she brings it back home tomorrow night. I think it shares the same system as yours.
    Cheers,

    Sean
