Earlier model D4's (like mine) have an ashtray. I'm assuming that the later model coin tray is just a modified version of the old ashtray, as nothing else on that part of the dash appears to have changed. Maybe you can find someone with an earlier model D4 who does not use the ashtray for its intended purpose and swap.

The rock slider's are the GOE units, and the snorkel, it'll be staying, I prefer this look over the Safari look.

Chops, Don't they offer a smokers pack as an option anymore.?
You must have been privileged to be allowed to park on C & S's front lawn. At least you can't get scratched on it there.

Mine came with a ciggy lighter with its illuminated hole but no ashtray lol
I guess I got the 1/2 smokers pack where throwing butts out is legal

That's interesting thanks Brian, might look into that, although one of my pet hates is a car smelling of stale smoke,,, easily rectified by opening windows,, I mean really opening windows. The problem with car ashtrays is they get left open so the stink just wafts around and goes into everything. A bottle with some water in it is the best. But I'll look into making something that fits in there and can hold some water I think, for which I might need a proper ashtray.
They certainly don't offer a smokers pack these days, and personally, I think that's pretty poor.


I did ask permission first Mario , but it was freshly mown too too good to resist.
Not too worried about scratches, but I'm looking into getting it wrapped for an up coming trip to which I believe the track is fairly tight, so it may warrant the $1500-2000 job being done. There are probably some cheaper options around, and I'll check them all out and see which we prefer.

You can get ashtray cups from Supercrapp etc,fit in the cupholders.

Yours has a what? Mine certainly doesn't. Mines a coin tray.
