If you do, an open lid container of fresh coffee grounds under a seat absorbs and masks it well..

Was what me and a mate did in the Mine vehicle we were assigned.

Guess who dropped by for a visit today?

I was offered a drive, and of course took it instantly. . Well, I can see why they call it permagrin now.

Geez, does it go well! Overtaking is a breeze - the Pajero never knew what past it I don't think. Very comfortable and feels very solid and planted. I might go a bit easier on you lot now - I have a small understanding of why everyone loves them.

Big thanks to Chops for the drive, it's an awesome car mate - well done.

Out of curiosity I am interested if you wanted to make any comparisons to the L322?

Similarities yes, but my L322 was 13 years old, and although tight for its age and an engine that was still strong, it is no comparison to a new D4, although you can see the DNA in the D4 that comes from way back over a decade ago. Controls felt familiar, but there are far more of them.

Power is no contest, the D4 is waaaaaay more powerful than my L322.

Drivers position is similar and I found it easy to drive after owning an L322.

It felt planted and solid - like the L322 but better.

Overall a great driving experience - seats more comfortable than the older L322's but I haven't driven an L322 past an 07 model, so I can't compare it to a newer version.

Very impressed, beautiful vehicle to drive, I would own one in a flash if I had the means.

Thanks that's the sort of reflection I was asking about, given the ages of the two vehicles.

    I haven't driven a D3 past 06 either

Drove from Narre up to Ballarat on Saturday, and Sunday we went from there over to Geelong, back to just before Melb city and then over to Bacchus Marsh, and then back to Narre,,,,
Gee's it chews up the miles so effortlessly and easy
