I visited her on Tuesday Ean.
Sad thing was my lowly $80000 D4 was the cheapest car in the lot.
Lots of exotic European sports cars there,many just for a polish and detail.

I'm interested to hear what else Southerns found wrong,it held the whole show up by 2 days by time they got parts.
My man at Southerns is on leave,will see if I can get any info tomorrow.

Warranty jobs.
Lower control arm bushes,lhs noisy at 25000km,both noisy by 30000km at off-road height only.
Oil management system failure,1 fault,just before I got to the dealer for the last service,couldnt have happened at a better time.
They re-set the fault it never returned,warranty job was to replace the cup measurement system inside the sump.
I hit a roo up north,Southern Land Rover arranged to get it repaired at a real flash repair shop whilst it was in the city.
I got a VolvoS40 as a loaner whilst it all went on.I could have had a new landy for the warranty job,not the help me out job so one VERY HAPPY Southern Land Rover client

Tell me more about the oil management fault.

I have had two mysterious warnings pop up on my car.

One telling my oil was low.

The other telling me I could not check the oil volume.

Cleared both times & oil volume was ok.

The fault I got was ENGINE OIL LEVEL MONITOR SYSTEM FAULT.
It was current when it went in for the last service.They sorted it out by re-setting it,but told me it had to come back to have the measure inside the sump replaced.
Not available usually means the oil level hasn't stabilised,it is supposed to warn of a low level,how much does it show when you check the level????
