I have a cheap 6smd chip in the boot light, though i would like to replace it. The yorkims arent bright enough for the boot

Check scotts thread (lrd414) as I think he has a better solution for the rear light, as well as additional lights for the rear hatch.

This is the 9 led one I used: 2x Canbus T10 194 168 W5W 5630 9 SMD DC 12V car wedge side stand light rear O4A8 190268295239 | eBay

That explains it for me, I've done the full upgrade with the Yorkim globes, could not get the front puddle lights to work on the T10 less, put the standard filaments back in and all good.

I like the clear white light inside, far better than the yellow glow that is standard.

I have a similar (if not the same) led un my boot light. How do you find the light temperature? I find it too blue, and am trying to find something that matches the colour of the yorkims better.
