    Joined the Disco D4 club.

After 46 years of series 2a , 3 and 4 defenders have finally got a D4, bit different to the puma but very nice to drive Thanks to scarry we have a well maintained low mileage vehicle that we hope will see good service, So we now have 2 2012 landrovers that probably came out on the same boat.

Since setting up an Android head unit with an OBD2 app, I have been observing how the EGR valves operate.

Interesting to see they are almost always partially open when driving around town cycling between 20-80% under different conditions. Only once have I see them go to 5% (closed) towards the end of a freeway run.

Finally installed the BAS remap and EGR delete this week. Should have done it ages ago. There is now virtually no turbo lag when pulling away from a dead stop, and the acceleration from about 100 km/h is way better than it was. Made very short work of overtaking a triple roadtrain the other day - and now I'll really have to watch myself, as they've recently followed all the other nanny states and banned radar detectors over here too.

Will do as I said I would in another thread but will reference it here.

As well as the cooler being delayed the lad is also needing to make up a bracket for it and will make a couple of those when he does it so that he has one ready for the next install.
    Cheers, Dale

Yes overtaking road trains even when towing camper trailers you need to make sure you don't go over the speed limit - even when it's 130

Did you do the blanking kit at same time? I’d love to also blank the coolers at the manifold and then decide on removing the coolant pipes but at least any small tube leak is contained in the deleted cooler.
