"Land Rover - making mechanics out of everyday motorists for nearly 70 years"
I wasn't convinced that LLAMS was operating correctly (I did not disconnect it when the 4 air struts were replaced during 2019) so I disconnected it before Christmas. I reinstalled it today and am happy to that everything is now behaving itself and operating as I expect.
Cheers, Dale

Actually got some rain the last two days in Tamworth so we drove around splashing in puddles this morning. Simple pleasures.

SubscriberI would love to know what happened to my D4 today - can someone ask the thieving Bastards to let me know 😡😢😫
Replaced a faulty parking sensor.....just to reinforce what we already know:
Price from Landrover dealer $276
OEM part from Rimmerbros ex UK: $54 delivered to my front door
The part is IDENTICAL to the one I pulled out - same markings / part numbers.
You can see where a stone has possibly hit the sensor and caused it to fail (and scream at me every time I started the car)
All up about 3 hours to do...but I messed around a bit.

Got harrassed by a white d5 today...doing a buck twenty at least. Driven by a crazy mainlander according to the rego plates. There are stacks of them in Tassie atm.
So what you say?
Well he certainly was moving at the time and more importantly behind the loaded D5 was a huge caravan..the type designed to go off road...4 wheels and jacked to the sky...swaying about a bit too..but not troubling the Disco one bit.
Sort of changed my view about the D5...it certainly looked the part and appeared to towing really well. Missus was really impressed and is now asking "how much do they cost..do they go as fast as our Disco..can they tow the float etc etc"
But na..I'll stick to the D4 for now☺
