Last week, the day before we were due to be driving from Sydney up to Ballina, the rear brake pads started squealing a bit more than I’d like and on investigation they were a bit low so I decided to replace them. I was busy at work and nearest (and of course most expensive) option was to pick up genuine pads.
All very routine until I tried to connect the new wear sensor. Just would not slip in nicely for me and is a bit hard to see where it sits behind the airbag. Finally I used a fine tip to scrape some dirt out of it, followed by contact cleaner and a blow with compressed air and it slipped in cleanly. Wasted a bit of time on that little foible.

What light mount are you using or did you make your own? I’ve heard that the ‘of the shelf’ version needs reinforcing

I have the Prospeed mounts and they don’t need any extra support, very solid. My lights are not that heavy but I think larger ones would still be fine.

Thanks. Where would you mount a uhf antenna and sand flag? Trying to decide if I actually need a bullbar or not

You can mount a UHF antenna to the roof rail or rack.

Sand flag could also be mounted in the same manner with suitable attachment - for this one I would recommend cross rails as the flag is subject to quite a bit of force.

I have the aerial mounted on bonnet and sand flag on roof rack. Details in my thread (link below) but also in quite a few specific threads over the years.
