Thread: What happened to your D3/D4 today?

1. my older looking tail light standard on early model D4's

2. my newer looking tail light with special decal made to look like the more modern looking tail lights without the added expense of new lights.

Opinion - they are not new lights genuine lamps or after market ones, these are decals added, cheaper alternative, time will tell if they are any good but for now happy to have them on. Bit fiddly applying them on just take your time but look ok in my opinion. cheers

Handed a set of those decals to a mate. Posted further up the thread. Come up good and look the part.

Changed diff oils and partial oil change on the transmission

Installed CarPlay to my 2010 D4 using a kit from Cameron at Old Jag - on the forums.

Not for the feint hearted if you go DIY. The mods to the touch screen are the fiddly bit.

I think in all it took me four hours start to finish. I could do it in half that now I know how it all comes apart and where to run cables / locate everything.

Similar, but of course for the far more agricultural ancestor of yours. The web page mentions Old Jag. Maybe I need to give him a nudge and ask.....
