They are the wedge bulbs, straight swap - no soldering.

Loaded carwebguru on my head unit and set it as the default launcher, much cleaner and more configurable than the original.

    Ohhh....No......it's gone!

After a period of time with our D3 SWMBO complained re the size of the vehicle and her want to operate with something more manageable in the supermarket car park etc. Sadly the D3 has now departed.

Mind you it has gone to another LR aligned person who was quite happy with its purchase and even more happy to be back with the brand!

We still have our D4 for the heavy duty stuff .

So what to do now......well we have stuck with LR and picked up a pretty good 2015 MY Freelander2.

    Happy campers again!

Had my transmission oil changed at A & B Auto yesterday. Nothing to report all OK. But they had nearly two pages of error codes (none related to the transmission). My issue is who clears these? Or do they check the errors when they service your car? I take mine to a "reputable" Indy so it does worry me that they perhaps do not do a full check when you have your car serviced!

You may find the error codes are historic. It doesn't take much to log an error code and keeping the historic list can help with diagnosing anything new. Just take the list to your Indy and discuss. You can drop by here if you're passing through Brighton and I can save a list and then clear them for you and see which ones, if any, return after you restart. But first I'd talk with your Indy.

Looking at the errors they are nothing major and all probably related to when recently my battery died. I have a GAP tool and can clear them myself. Thanks anyway. The issue is that I would have thought as part of my car service the mechanics would look at all error code logs, see if any are important, fix them as necessary and delete them. Maybe I am expecting too much for (on average) $1000+ services on my car!!

I suspect you're right about the battery. I, too, would have thought that a service would include checking and removing error codes.

Looks good, just a couple of questions out of interest - why do you have 2 screens? And did you originally have a screen in the top position, or was that an added extra you put in? Mine is an SE so i don't have the upper screen.

    Cheers

I would place a sticker on my OBD port before a service. If it was still there after questions would be asked!!!

    It happened several times.
