If you follow the cliffs down to False Entrance and exit from there it is one of the great circuit trips you’ll ever do.

G’day Josh, the panel is attached using UHB (ultra high bond) tape. I got it from a solar shop in Rowville Victoria. This stuff is pretty serious. I did 150 on the freeway this weekend... this panel will not come off.

This morning I wired up the panel. Fitted the remote push to talk for the GME radio, and also the microphone.

We did a short version of this by going down to Nor6 and back across to Ranger Station. Bit short on time to do the whole lot down to False Entrance by the time we got off the DHI barge and up to Steep Point etc.

Came home from a weekend's camping (Fri lunch to Sun lunch) at the Banyan Tree Caravan and Tourist Park just outside Litchfield National Park. The rubbernecker's are about earlier this year. Mostly Victorian's at this stage.

    Great idea mate!
Does the plastic trim require a plastic primer prior to spraying on the Raptor paint? At close to $90 a can I'd like to get this right the first time.......

Installed Rhinorack platform & awning. Went with the slightly narrower platform than what is stated as the straight fit for the Disco on the Rhinorack website.

The narrower version looks so much cleaner than the overhanging one.

    100% agree Tombie.

Also re-jigged the electrics on the rear box to now include a 240V inverter along with the air compressor and water pump for the 60 litre bladder (under the box).
Everything now fits neatly behind the rear seats.
