Had to form a road entrance thanks to some cowboy workers deciding to build a windrow across out 900 yard mound access road.

    Sliders did the job

Failed completely. Wrong discs sent to me. Frigging 2.7L tiny discs not the whopping 3L ones What happened to your D3/D4 today?
Wait for another set of discs now. Don’t need it running so can wait rather than refitting the old ones.

How impossible is it to get to the 21mm bolt to torque to 275nm! As Eric did, wish and a prayer between using a 3/8” ratchet with extender and spanner on spanner to get it to not move any further. No doubt a special tool required to do it “correctly”. I’m sure it’s tight enough.

Do you reckon any wheel alignment shop in the history of mankind has ever put a torque wrench on a suspension bolt?

Yes I watched the guys that did mine torque up the rear camber, front lca eccentrics and wheel nuts. I made it easy for them as I wrote the torque value on each bolt head after replacing all control arms.

I messed around with it but it still kept faulting so I turned it off in the CCF again.

So an update, I replaced the water pump today with a dayco for piece of mind, also replaced the idler pulley and Belt tensioner which I ordered from jlr uk. Boy doesn’t it feel good to replace these parts.

Shyte, the coolant level low still appears... I did inspect the coolant bottle on the table and filled the system backup with premix nulon oat, which on the label states Land Rover spec. I wonder if the concentrated coolants are any better?

Edited, just noticed I maybe sagging on the rear right What happened to your D3/D4 today?

I used the nulon concentrate only because it was cheaper than buying premixed even after buying 5 ltrs deminerislised water.

I picked nulon over penrite as the nulon is silicate free whereas penrite is si oat .

Your issue will be the float in the header tank and for ease it's just easier to replace the tank. I bought my replacement from mario at roverlord but I dont think he is selling anymore.

A/C just stopped working in my D3 this morning. Had a quick look with my IIDtool and at first glance it appears I have no pressure in the A/C system. So guess I need to have a dig around to see if I can see any obvious indications of a sudden loss of refrigerant.

Or a air con compressor clutch not engaging.

D3 doesn't have a clutch and the even if the compressor wasn't running the system pressure would be whatever the pressure for R134a at ambient was.
