Began the arduous process of a coolant change. Drained and flushed with fresh water three times and still not clear. Unfortunately as I’m in Covid iso I can’t ethically take it for a drive to warm it up properly which probably isn’t helping.
Will continue tomorrow.
Also repaired my Traxide isolator as the LED had a dry joint and worked intermittently. The isolator was ok but I couldn’t see the status. Opened her up and resoldered the LED to the board and all good again.
Got the insanely bright gear surround out, via taking the whole centre console out, and plasti-dipped it matt black. I like the effect, and am no longer 'blinded by the light', which was a real issue for me...
Was also a good rehearsal for some subsequent power take off activity via the cigarette plugs - lots of room under there, and I'm going to be running power to a wireless charger in the binnacle.

Only problem is that it shows up some wear on the seating - going to have to find some gunmetal for that...
The timeless shape of a D4 served its duty today again as the prime vehicle for Sons wedding.
