    Uniden 9080

Hi all, installed the 2 way at last, but because there is a dedicate place for this I put the information here Uniden 9080 Install

Plenty of info on this forum about doing this which was all very helpful, hopefully this adds to the knowledge base.

No back issues...just leg cramps poss due to seat having to be set a bit lower than the D2 for best vision and arm posi...thereby reducing upper leg support...or maybe it was related to excessive accelerator/brake pressure?

Tried the windscreen washers in today drizzle after cleaning out one on each side and re-adjusting on Monday. They'd been blocked for months but I only did them Monday as I couldn't do much else in the rain. I see Supercheap has a tool for this but I just used a safety pin.

Replaced the hydrabushes on the LCAs of a MY14 D4.Thanks to David for lending us the Laser 6180 tool.Having the use of a ramp, the air spanner and emptying the airbags, made the job easier.Photos show extraction and insertion using the 24mm spanners, slow and plenty of cracking noises as the bush slowly moves through the arm.

lifted the bonnet and noticed oil film on the Y piece of the TDV6 , also an oil droplet on the fitting where the EGR pipes fit onto the Y piece. Looks like i am up for O rings , prolly have the ones that fit the EGR fitting but the Y piece ones may be a challange.

Anyone purchased these as a stand alone item . If so where from.

    Thanks
