A fresh oil cooler and the old girl has stopped sweating power on the ground :-)
Meanwhile, I've managed to burn out the blower fan resistor and plug, so now waiting on a replacement plug and pigtail to arrive

Just a word of warning.
The last Ryco oil filter I bought came with the O ring they all do for the housing, but it started to leak very badly after a few thousand km, only just caught it in time, there was no oil showing on the dipstick.
When I pulled it and checked the O ring, it didn't stand proud of the housing, so wouldn't seal. The Mahle stood out considerably more, even when comparing second hand ones.
On the D3 it's a square section ring that sits in the gully so one of the corners protrudes
I've had no trouble with Ryco previously.
I'm liking the look of this. I love a kit. They do the Mahle oil filter as well for $11
