New set of brake wear indicator leads is about 25 bucks off eBay, the plastic housing for the wires does get very brittle with heat cycling, I use a set of small bent nose pliers to lever it out gently. On the second set now, leads dead easy to replace, just make sure the routing is correct.
Definitely consider them single use and some kits come complete with new sensorsQuote:

Had a stone go through one of the Pirelli Scorpions, glad I had swapped over to the standard rims and tyre size the other week. Hopefully I can get the plugs to fill the hole and get some more life out of these tyres, then get something more suitable for gravel roads.

What a PITA it is to get the spare down, putting seats up and then removing the wheel from the cable and bracket. I was a bit paranoid about winding out too much slack and then having the cable foul up.

Mother in law hit about a screw a week for a little while. I guess a Bunnings truck rolled over. On a few repairs they put a patch on like a pushbikes tyre from the inside. I was suprised. Never had any issues but. Dunno if it's common practice or dangerous. But they did itQuote:

Urm not completely correct. An insert plug administered from the outside is temporary. A mushroom plug inserted from the inside by a repairer with vulcanising glue is a legal repair. It’s mushroom shaped such that it cannot push outward. It’s in the ADRs somewhere.Quote:

In the past 6months ive also replaced the front shocks (including replacing a new one as it blew a seal in the shock), replaced the air compressor and replaced all the front suspension bushings. It's finally driving nice again. And the new compreasor is so much quieter!
