Put an edge on a feeler gauge.

I love them. I’ve used feeler gauges for anything from knives, shims through to reed valves in a compressor and vacuum pump. Cheap, readily available and flexible. Always keep a disposable set in the tool kit.

Well now I’m not setting points or spark plugs, I have little need for them.

IIRC, the video I've seen regarding the removal, recommends literally smashing the old light to get out.

    20L of lifeguard 6 ordered.
    New duraprene gasket and filter.
Two valve body separator plates so I have the one I need once I have it apart without order delay.
Gen2 zip kit, mechatronic seal and the other internal foam seals.

Hoping it is worth it. Will do that next month.

Mine had a 12mm shattered hole in it ..previous owner was quoted many hundreds to replace it..so he took the cost off the purchase price. I die grinded the hole and fitted a closed rubber grommet into the now rounded hole.

It looks factory..like some sort of rear sensor or camera unit😎

    Yes..I am cheap😉

Wouldn't get away with that here.

First thing they check on a roadworthy is the vehicles lights, the slightest crack and its knocked back.

Unless of course you know the inspector.
