Sorry Shane, I obviously misunderstood. Not having looked properly, are you saying there is space between the transmission tunnel and its covering on the side towards the brake pedal? Or can you make space left of and below the steering wheel column?

Just to the left of the steering column where it goes through he firewall from memory. Theres a couple of "bolt" threads sticking out from the firewall - I believe that they are the mount points for where a clutch pedal would be in the manual versions so its to the left of the brake pedal mount. I'd get a pic posted up, but Im away at work for another 7 days

    Where do people fit them?
I suspect it will have to go under one of the seats - and if so, just as well I don't plan any deep water crossings.
Hi Gavin, I mounted the UHF head end under the steering column. Installing Oricom DTX4200 UHF Radio & Antenna - D4

Dangling Wires - What do they do, where do they go?

    Hi all,
Noticed two twisted wires running to a terminal dangling from under the rear passenger side wheel arch. Obviously it has become detached due to the corrugated roads we have been over lately on the PDR. Any idea what they are/do, and where they will have come loose from? For the moment I have them cable tied up out of harms way. Appreciate any suggestions from the brains trust. In the interim I will have a look through the LR4 Workshop Manual.

Spent the morning pulling off the bumper to get at the leaking washer bottle! It seems to be from the power washer hose with perished orings. I foolishly snapped the clip though and now it is leaking even more having been put back together What happened to your D3/D4 today? will at least only need to take off the wheel arch to have another go securing..

Did you do a risk assesment and worked out you needed an old tomatoe stake to hold up the bonnet?

Or are the bonnet struts shagged?

Risk... Assessment... That would imply some forethought on my part. Clearly the later What happened to your D3/D4 today?
