A bit of sunlight and I could probably grow something.

Be warned if planning to remove the gutter trim - the trick to remove the plugs is to get your trim removal tool underneath the head but then don’t pull but rather unscrew the plug.

Of course even knowing this I still manage to twist the head off the last plug which then had to be drilled out.
Seeing all that under my trims prompted me to remove my trims when I installed the rhino pioneer

Long story about how I virtually replaced my whole system but now I can truly say - I feel your pain

Finished the lower control arms and had alignment done.
I’d forgotten how silky smooth the D4 is with new bushes.
Found that the parts I replaced were not genuine LR. They had done about 60k or so and replaced the original parts at 68k.
Guess I’ll be doing them again in another few years.

It sat in the driveway for the 3rd day in a row and hasn't dropped, leveled or farted.

I have noticed the heater matrix is blocking up on the passenger side, so the coolant flush (and probably a new matrix) is starting to get pretty urgent.

Is there an available grommet on the passenger side?

Attempted to change the injectors this evening. Five of six came out without too much drama however number 3 is stuck fast, literally welded into the cylinder. No amount of magic with pulling twisting worked. Stuck fast, didn’t move at all - would come out with a slide hammer like the manual shows but I don’t have one.

Gave up on it and reassembled with five new ones. I will let Dovers do it when I take it in for other works.

Now need to bleed the cooling system and run through the new injector procedure in the morning (and see if it runs again).

I’ve seen it proposed get the car up to operating temp before starting the job makes getting injectors and flow plugs out easier with temp still in the head.

Did you have the reseating tool to reinstall new ones?

Well, after the original windscreen lasting nearly 8 years of traveling all around the country it was brought to heal by a rock from a ore roadtrain on the way to Karajini, replaced in Geraldton on the 12th August by Whyatt's Land Rover ( excellent LR service and parts by the way) and today, after about a month, killed by a rock from a ore roadtrain heading towards Mount Magnet. What happened to your D3/D4 today?
There's something about those 4 trailer roadtrains that my windscreens just don't seem to likeWhat happened to your D3/D4 today?🪨
