Perhaps check out the Rock It liner paint instead. It seems to be smoother off the gun, it's cheaper and has a better shelf life apparently ( anecdotally at least ) .

Rolls on, or uses the same Schutz gun. Can be thinned.

Just a suggestion, I have no affiliation.

I'm about to buy one and try it.

Here's a pic of raptor on a set of LR rims. Sprayed with the schutz gun at the recommended air pressure.

Raptor can be thinned too, o ly down to a certain proportion though.

I was talking this week with a bloke who had a weird Troopy with an extra door. This car was done in Rock-It, other than the wiper panel. The wiper panel looked like those wheels, the rest of the car was much smoother, still textured though. He tried to scratch it with his key to demonstrate it was still tough. Wish I'd thought to take pix. I'm considering painting the OKA with it.

Would that textured finish be a chore to clean?

Probably no more than the brushed on finish it now has.

I actually don't know though. There's a D2 I see around here painted in the G4 Tangerine colour in bedliner and it looks great.

    This guy doesn't think so.

I would think that the textured surface would trap more dirt and dust, ok for small items but I wouldn't paint a whole car in it.

    Can anything more go wrong

Just refurbished suspension compressor, electronic brake actuator and parking brake shoes. Put blocking plate kit on EGR valves and replaced overflow bottle and a full service in the last week. Then test drive thinking the old D4 2.7 should per like a kitten. But no within 4KM Gearbox Fault code U2023.
and now once it gets hot it slips when taking off and won't shift gear properly. In sports mode unable to go above 4th gear or shift between gears as normal
Full service at 166000 and torque converter upgraded at 173000 because of shudder. I recognise its most likely gearbox has just failed ,but its just the timing that gets to me

Is that the only code you got?
That'll be an EU4, so blanking the EGRs without programming them out will result in faults, and cascade engine faults will result in multiple faults in other subsystems including the transmission.

Yep. Remove the blanking plates and refit anything EGR you removed and it’ll be fine. You have to program them out.
