On our Victorian high country trip, the place we intended to refuel was closed, so had to go another 80 km. The last 20 km or so was on 0 km to empty and I added 76.01L.
One day I'd like to be game enough to run it dry and see how much is really available ie to the claimed from memory 82L useable mentioned in the specs.

SubscriberI managed to squeeze 82.3 in mine at Nerrandera when a similar situation arose. I had worked out where I could safely get to pulling my caravan with quite a bit of leeway. About 20 km short of refuelling, the road was closed due to flooding which meant about an 80km detour.
No problem, I had allowed myself 100 Klm. When we got to my planned fuel stop, servo closed. I drove as economically as I could to get into Nerrandera. I was sure I felt it cough as I pulled up at the bowser, but it started fine after I filled up.
Have to be lucky sometimes.
Cheers
