Literally right before it broke I was thinking to myself "How great is it that my compressor hasn't played up since I serviced it two years ago." 30 seconds later...
Just a question to all,
why not just replace the whole compressor with a new unit?
My D4 has been absolutely faultless, touch wood, I am thinking I will keep it a few more years so due to where I go it must remain faultless so wouldn't
just replacing the whole compressor that is now 10 years old and 130,000km be a safer option?
Personally I don't care if it costs a few extra $$ because those spent $$ are considerably less than a tow from the middle of nowhere and worth it with less chance of a brake down
