Speaking of throttle voltage readings - can someone please post some comparison voltage data and throttle % values from the two position sensors.
I have started to see some P2138-62 algorithm based throttle comparison faults (which is nasty as it throws the car into full crawl speed limp mode which ain’t nice in heavy traffic).
The two sensors follow each other but with a 0.5-1.5v difference depending on the position. The manual states one signal voltage is approximately double that of the other (was hoping for a more precise comparison).

SubscriberNice. One is pretty much double the other as the notes suggested.

Thanks Brad - much appreciated.
Have mapped the same and converted to a chart:
Only a very small variation between our results.
I wonder what tolerance they use to trigger the fault code. The actual ratio varies from 1.94 to 2.06 times. I am guessing the variation would need to be more than 0.1 to trigger a fault (below 1.9 or greater than 2.1).
I’ve said this before but I think worth repeating, it’s such a waste to have this kind of quality thinking and diagnosing between DiscoDB and BradC totally lost within the body of this huge and useless thread, instead of in an issue or topic specific thread.
Having and saving good content like this in a place where it can be found in future is about the only advantage this forum has over FB groups

SubscriberThe saving grace Scott is everything here is very searchable.
I just did a google search for “P2138 site:aurlo.com” and it took me straight to my actual post.
Same when I search using the app search function. Of course google may be spying on me……

Super ModeratorWhile I mostly agree, one thing I've learned is if you took 10 threads and had 100 people organise / file them you'd wind up with a thousand variations. As DiscoDB says, search is a powerful tool for dredging the internet for gold.
I rely on search engines because I can't rely on anyone else filing information in a manner I'd be able to quickly use it.
The ability to archive and search the database is what separates AULRO from the transient fluff that is "social media". Combined with the internet archive, it's almost indelible.

Not actually today's news but yesterday's (I wanted to wake up and make sure it had really happened before posting...).
As the titles says - it hasn't been here for the last 4 months as I dropped it off in Sept for rocker cover gaskets to be replaced and told the Indie it wasn't urgent
A number of factors combined and so it wasn't until yesterday, resplendent with a new radiator (unplanned) that it came home.
The weekend will be spent doing a final tidy and clean, taking of photos and posting adverts for sale. We were intending to keep it for another 2 - 3 years but have decided that we'll camp locally rather than remotely for the next few years and prepare for the purchase of another vehicle for remote camping/caravaning once we are about to retire.
Cheers, Dale

Preparing the D4 for a 6-8 month western half lap. During the 6 month eastern lap we avoided driving at night for obvious reasons, but got caught out on the Oodnadatta track where we shredded a tyre and had to crawl into William Creek after dark trying to spot black cattle in the middle of the track. Hairy despite the HSE bi xenon headlights... so have installed a STEDI 3303 23.3" Pro light bar grill mounted with a bracket from the Osborne Park WA Autoelecoz crew. Spliced the switching wire into the Blue - Slate Grey high beam wire at the back of the passenger side headlight connector, mounting the isolator switch on the side of the steering column. Happy with the outcome.
