    MYDec/13, 130000km, mapped, lots of towing, no problem so far. I will be interested in this thread as I just got quoted $5000 to replace them.

    From the postings I have read on AULRO I am probably more concerned about potential failure of auto trans shift rotary controller which will be hugely inconvenient if it fails anywhere other than in my driveway or outside Justin's workshop, or the tailgate latch assy which seems to give occasional problems.

    There’s a nice MY14 SCV6 in Qld DJ, check out Carsales.com.au .... this gets you away from all the diesel issues....
