On first glance I like it, brings the Freelander up to date.

A few more articles here. Not read them all yet but it looks pricey. The range starts at 32,000 pounds as opposed to 27,000 for the Freelander.

Front and rear stainless steel protection (I assume that won't be very thick, but better than nought) and 17, 18, 19 or 20 inch rims available (great for tyre choice). A worthy successor to the Freelander me thinks.

    Discovery Sport

I watched the video - now I'm convinced I need one so I can be one of those cool dudes that does outdoor things
Looks nice but the vid tells you nada about the car
Ps it will never catch on here - steering wheel is on the wrong side!

I like the black pack on the dark grey.... Sinister

I agree csbrisie, i think it will be a step up and i will look at upgrading the wifes freelander 2 when it comes out.

i think alot of people will be against it holding the discovery name plate. im not sure about the rear taillights but i like the styling of the rest of the car.

Looks a bit too much like an updated version of the Ford Territory for me

They could have had one model with transfer case & ediff.

Why do all car makers assume that serious 4x4's have to be huge.

There is only two of us & a newfie plus the grandkids occasionally.
    Cheers

I meant I would be interested if they had a transfer case and ediff.

    Don't need the size of a D4.
