The Disco 5 is super comfortable on the bitumen, can tow 3.5t, has a super flexible interior payload space (admittedly not as good as the D4 due to shape), seats up to 7 with actually decent 3rd row, can go down to access height for sneaking into car parks and can stretch up over 300mm clearance for obstacles, comes standard with 2-range transfer case and full-time 4WD, locking centre diff, has the best traction control on the market with a variety of meaningfully different modes.
And you can also choose from a range of engines.
It's easily the most versatile SUV. It's not leading sales numbers for various reasons including premium price, damaged brand reputation outside the cities, and some terrible dealerships.
