Here's some more from the high res shots.
Rocksliders
Metal front bash and HD recovery hook.
Clean windscreen in mud, with no bonnet nozzle sprayers. (In tusk shot looks like windscreen washers are on wipers).

They will be steps only
Weak poxy steps as per normal
Definitely not sliders
BUT
It means there is obviously some place down below sill to bolt protection to
Hopefully.
Interesting to compare how much less clearance 2020 has
Assuming that series is on 7.5r16s and the 2020 is on 32”
Near enough the same
Series sills and front bumper are all well above the centre line of the wheel
2020 is well below
Now of course the series has spring hangers and diffs that the 2020 can have tucked up
But you are going to need some beef to protect those pretty panels

Oh trust me I agree completely
Munja Tk a few years ago in November
Hilux on 17s
DMax on 16s
DMax would have had 50% greater load on board
Hilux killed three tyres, all rock damage to the poxy sidewalls
No one will convince me 18s are better than 16s for anything but going fast and considering the max speed in Aus is 110km/h and I’ve never had issues at that speed on 16s.....
Anyways - ramblings finished
My simple point was 7.5r16 are same diameter give or take as the 2020
So a direct comparison of sill clearance can be made

Um, maybe it could, if you happened to forget that these vehicles have a whole lot of lift on demand thanks to the air suspension.
There might be a coil version of this new vehicle but it’s not intended for anywhere that clearance really matters. EAS isn’t mechanically simple the way a rigid axle and big coils are but it sure as heck is effective.
