I'm guessing by this reply that you've never read about anything that GB has done? Suggesting he is the sort of person that is anti tech is like suggesting the Pope doesn't believe in God.

GB is well known for his technical prowess and forward thinking on many issues and across multiple platforms - be it his EV Lightweight or his work improving the Ivecos he works on.

Pretty silly statement IMO. Maybe you need to get out of this thread once in a while and have a look around other parts of the forum at what some of these members are doing before typing something that could be seen as derogatory by that person.

It was tongue in cheek mate, me and GB have a bit of back and forth however im sure there is mutual respect.

I'm well aware of GB and his projects and have added to multiple other EV threads mate, stand by my comments and is not at all derogatory, it was inline with his comments. I would praise anyone that rode a horse into town over a car, in fact, I would buy them a beer.

Driver assistance and safety festures using forward facing cameras saves lives more than anything else, calling those features a joke may not be forward thinking and could be seen as silly using your words.

Lets keep the peace hey rather than inflaming something into more than it is

Tech, tech and more tech. Suits some but not others. In a sense I don't mind the tech provided it doesn't disable the vehicle if the tech malfunctions or fails completely.

I believe they can pick up colors in latest gen for signs and road markings of color, so you might be onto something.

its all good , Im generally disliking everything I see about the LR2020 & let a few off the cuff remarks rip , so I'm bound to cop one on the chin in return. No hard feelings either way .

As for the BEV version , nope not interested that either. The car is too weighed down with unnecessary tech & junk i'm not interested in. Going by the pictures it just looks like any other 'SUV' Pajero / Prado / Patrol / 200 Series - I can hardly distinguish one from the other .

I'd rather have a JL Rubicon, or a Gladiator, but my $$ are still waiting for Bollinger. (I'll be able to tow my horse float with it ) .
