The 101 has a big feul tank. There is one jerry can holder slung underneath. I have a triple jerry can holder I want to fit. The previous owner of my first one used to drive around the Flinders Ranges with two 44gal drums of fuel in the back.
Don't think I'll have a problem between servo's.
Well yeah guess you are right it does fit in the light truck catargory.
Eaither was I feel quite depressed about what I found at the auctions.
I thought a rag top 110 would be a great run around for me after our trip around oz was over.
Maybe the perenties just aren't for me.
Does anyone know if the last lot in melbourne were particuarly rough? Or is that the norm?
I thought the ones at the earlier auction were of a better standard than the last auction. I guess Mannheim evened the tone out with the 2 6x6 Infantry carriers & 3 RSFV's as they were pretty good. One thing I learnt was not to buy one sight unseen. One I thought was OK ran very roughly, maybe dodgy fuel, but too much of a gamble. It sold to a Qld buyer. In fact 4 vehicles went to Qld, 7 back to NSW & 7 to Vic buyers![]()
