Actually, $12k to $14k for a 4x4 soft top and Cooks trailer I thought was a reasonable price. Can hardly wait until they auction them off in Melbourne.

I'll need to find some storage space first.
I drive by a couple of lines of seemingly stored mog's, hard tops, soft tops and x6'ers (perhaps 20 vehicles total) whenever I drop in at my dads place in Watsonia. And that's just what's visible from the outside of one road around the outside of that one base. Given there are a heap more ADF bases around Vic i would be pretty sure there will be something relatively large happening in Melbourne at some point.

Mick, Aliens drive didn't look full yet when there on the weekend?!? And come to think of it... Pretty sure I could see grass across car size parts of your front yard last time I was there too!!!

Get the cheque book warmed up!
    Hoo-Roo,

    Dave.

    61,109 + 10144 = 71,253 all +REGO & CTP + insurance + transport/pickup
    60,009 + 9961 = 69,970
    47,909 + 7953 = 55,862

i'm still undecided on whats a fair price if/when i bid.......everybody has a different view and justification.

for me its my retirement rig for just the two of use but........i would need to allow for the following on top of the purchase price

    • convert to hard top.......
    • install power steering
    • extend fuel range
    • de-militarize
    • respray
    • and then get it up to touring/overlanding spec
as a mate pointed out it work out better pouring the money into my existing defer.....which is making more sense by the day

Change the "0001" number and you will find the rest of the vehicles. (Also, I put a space near the start so it didn't turn into a hyperlink - couldn't figure out how to stop it! Don't copy paste the space.)

Edit: P.S. I didnt buy anything, but the price for a soft top is OK. I might have to convince SWMBO we don't need a roof.

i took a snap shot at 3:15pm ish for future reference as i had to leave my computer....i only copied the 110 prices. thanks for the tip about going back and having a lok at the final price.....when i have time up my sleeve
