Probably putting in bets for the two or three they'd be prepared to walk away with, giving them a back up if the others get too high.
Can backfire though, mate of mine did it with the trailers and he won both of them

$10,504:49 final price isn't too bad in comparison to the early auctions.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

Poor unemployed me had to watch as the one I so desperately wanted went over the $20k mark.
So, I did what any grown man would do, I put my head in my hands and cried.
    I howled.
    I howled like a newborn.
But, dear readers, there is news. It looks as if I will have a three month job.
Prepare yourself. Get yourselves cashed up for the next auction. I will be bidding with a vengeance. I will leave no survivors.

The FFR was still open a couple of minutes ago - $11K is better than $20K!

The one I bought in the previous auction had 3/4 of a tank - pleasantly surprised, was expecting a smidge above empty!
