Well it's quicker off the line with the hubs out.
    That's about it.
Biggest hill I could find, foot flat in 4th gear holding 80 up and that was giving it everything.
Perhaps I'm expecting too much, but for a 4.2L turbo diesel 6 I think that's crap.
Interestingly, the trailer with the straw is hooked up to the other 1hd we have, and the difference between the two just reversing the trailer around is noticeable...

On the older models looking at / moding the injector pump let the horses loose. This may be an issue with yours? Don't know the 1HD engine injector system, so may be barking up the wrong tree with this.

You need to take it down to JC a 1hdfte master

A quick ten minute diagnostic with long term improvement would be to throw a blanking plate into the EGR pipe. Won't throw codes on the 1hd and will definitively block the soot maker?

Nah, I just downshift and put my foot through the firewall
It seems a bit better having just been serviced. Although going from my heavily chipped and intercooled td5 into these, even the V8s seem crap with a load on them, especially off boost which is disappointing for a 4.5L TDV8, plus they smoke like no-ones business
