OK 'Mr ACT Night Owl', I am happy to leave 'the pig' with Andy... as long as he keeps the "lets cut her up" ethic to the minimum required!

I am not ready to have her bob tailed, camel cut and flared with 40 plus inch rims just yet!!! Still need her to do primary school pick up and around town duties for a while...

Will await guidance from Andy on what he's happy to do (and when), and will start brainstorming (that could be a challenge) for the 'branding' competition too!

sorry, can't guarantee that any or all of the above won't happen... especially if it spends a few days at Bundalene's place (if they are willing of course) where the Rangies now outnumber the Defenders and Disco's.

Me too... I haven't asked him yet.

Looking forward to seeing some inspirational designs.

I have it on good authority that the first two of our V3 production RAI's (snorkel if you seal it properly) are out of the mould this week.

If "that Sydney donor" wants to call Andy we can arrange the cutting of your pretty P38 and fitting of the RAI... or if I get up there first it will be on one of my P38's.

    Cheers
    Paul.

I don't have one & I'm forbidden to take Leslie's one off road so a snorkel is pointless anyway .

Hi, thought I would ask this in this thread so I can find it back later

How hard would it be to swap the location of the EAS compressor with the air box so one could make an RAI with a shorter piece running down the outside of the gaurd?

    bl**dy mind readers

Not too hard really, just extend the air lines and electrics, and make up a new bracket to mount it forward and down.

Modify the air box to fit, or use a different one and modify the pipe, MAF etc to the manifold.

Keep us informed of how you go with it, and I'll do the same when I get time to play with RAI v5 or v6 (v4 is the sleeved/shippable one)

    Cheers
    Paul.

keep in mind you will have to move the cruise control unit and possibly the charcoal canister aswell to make room for a big enough pipe to go thru.

I was thinking the same thing, but remove the airbox for dual battery setup and mount either this http://www.knfilters.com/57s_airbox.htm or this http://www.knfilters.com/universal/apollo.htm under the EAS box. Move the AFM to just before the TB and it should be good to go. I was going to give it a try, had one of those Apollo filter kits lying around from an old project but I made the fatal mistake of leaving it at my dads house where it became a foot stool, then a lamp stand, and then sold for much less than it was worth But that's the risks of using Dad as a storage yard

    Cheers,
    Keels
