Had a new radiator put in last year in May when the head gasket got done, however little over a year, it's leaking on the bottom tank joints. I took it out, tried re-clamping it with no luck only making the situation worse. The previous radiator got me about 2 years with the same problem. The one before that also.
3 radiators in 4 years, what a joke!! Where is the quality gone these days?? Surely this cannot be a P38 syndrome, finding a geniuine radiator seems fruitless, and getting one made up at Aussie dessert coolers is rather expensive, though the money ive spent over the years i reckon it would have easily paid for iteself. What is going on in these manufacturing lands i.e China, Scottland etc where these radiators come from? They must be manufaturing them with major flaws or bad quality control. Can hardly call them OEM standard.
