    HRA?? Need a bullbar

    Hi all,

Does anyone know if HRA are still in operation? I have been trying to contact them without success for about a month now. The website is still active but hasn't been updated since 2008..

Better yet, does anyone have a winch bar for a P38 they would like to sell

Another question: If you modify a D2 ARB bar, what are the legalities?? What could go wrong etc etc..

    Thanks

    Rick

I've been trying for over 12 months to buy a bar for my RR. I'm not quick enough on Flea Bay

Hardy Neale (in Sunshine Coast, Qld) sold Hard Range to Andrew Barbara (in Perth, WA) a year or so ago.

I bought Hardy's Rangie in December 2008... the one that appears in most of the HRA adverts

Willem has a HRA winch bar. I have a HRA bar (pre-winch) which was the original prototype for latter models. There are a few others getting around the forum.

"andrew e" has successfully fitted an ARB D2 bar to a P38A with some TLC and skills.

Airbag compliance should not be much of an issue as the crash sensor is on the body, not the bar.

If you don't get any joy from HRA/Andrew in the next few days, let me know and I will try to contact him via alternate means.

I'd hate to see HRA go down the drain.. in fact, I'd be prepared to look in to buying it to preserve the good name and products. Anyone else feel the same way?

    Cheers, Paul.

HRA bar is great - if that's the quality of all of their products, I can recommend. I'd support you Paul, if you were to buy it ...

When it was up for sale I tried contacting Hardy with a view to buying the business but I couldn't contact him.

I've got an email reply from Andrew Barbara dated 21/11/2009 if that helps - so they were around as at November last year.

I was enquiring whether they do a rear tyre carrier for the P38 (they don't)

Thanks for the vote of confidence Willem. Discussions about the future ownership of HRA have commenced... watch this space
