Got a scabby old Quadrajet and stuck the original 200impco of the side, the carb has holes everywhere and sticky butterflys

Got a recoed then pulled of for a holley, quady coming to work tomorrow for 100 beer tickets, then I can get some timing in it without raising the idle to much (because bytteflys wont clos) and set it up to run fuel before we head bush this weekend,

troubles? well it wouldn't start without leaking vac, stop the leak and no go?? well it konked out pulling up with the 3.9 on gas, so just switched to fuel then yanked so didn't think into it, pulled the mixer apart and the little regulating bit on the diaphragm had dropped off, stick it back together and all is well, everything except the tach is all good and no shakes/rattles/knocks, and thank god the auto works fine after dropping the pump off

So carby and low pressure pump in, tomorrow night after work, then I'll tune it wednesday before night shift and we're done
Should run like a swiss watch soon with good carby and mixer. Has it got a duel advance curve moduel? To help tune on LPG.

No, just crane fireball, he can put premium in if he runs petrol

and its no real drama if you need to run crap fuel as a simple twist of the dizzy will stop it rattleing

I have had a few 351's come in with 302 heads. They seem a bit tender in the big ends.: They hate Low Octane(I have one here ported with 4V Valves Elbrock manifold etc. Would look good in my Rangie!
Did you have to change Sump and oil pick up on the 350 to clear the diff? It would be the case with Clevo.

Well a new issue this weekend away, the front pinion flange hit the starter motor, be fine if it was a rover diff, but its a HP Tojo front and its a big ass starter, will do some measureing and probably just extend the bumpstops a touch, till a smaller starter pops up

I allways said Toymotors were clumsy Had this happen with P76 starter (Solenoid faces down). What a downer. May as well shorten shock turrets as well to get more down travel. Then the springs will fall out and brake lines will hang
