Money, space and time makes all he difference I'd say. Keep on going though, you'll get there. Mick (Cal415) is slowly but surely progressing with his LS1 County.

Been working on the console to get all the interior mods done. Have to get it covered in some leather/vinyl and padding yet but that will have to wait till the end of the month. Got the disco 2 T bar so i can use the Mode button for the Allison Tow/Haul mode. just have to put in a button for the manual mode for manual select of gears but have to get manuals out to see what i require. hand brake is also relocated so more leg room and no more roasted leg when its 45 degress.

Very Nice!!!!
This thread is amazing, every time my girlfriend says I'm going too far on our vehicle I can just show her this and she's off my back in a second! This makes my project look like kindergarten finger painting!! Well done!
Great work on the console Gaz. It'll look a million $'s with some covering. It looks great as is but it'd get a bit hot this way I'd think.

Yeah, your are right about being too hot! I knew alloy was a good conductor of heat but was not until i started doing some alloy welding that i realised how quick it can transfer heat. No wonder a defender seat box gets so damn hot.
Cheers Gaz
You might want to ad some insulation on the underside before you put it in place. Bundaleen did an insulation job on his puma thread.
Sorry but where did all the photos go? I can't see any. Anyone else have similar issues?
EDIT: after I posted this one photo came up. But no others. And none of my browsers are showing them. Also, pics are showing up in other threads.
I just really want to see whats going on as this build sounds pretty fantastic.
Cheers,
Dan
I can see the photos ok.
Maybe something to do with your settings?
I remember seeing someone else posting a similar problem and they had switched of images somewhere. I tried to find where this might be but I had no luck.
