Got to love toys! Pity my wife is not on the same wave length! Hopefully $21,000,000.00 this weekend to buy more (and build massive shed)Quote:

If I win 21 million, I will give you 12 months head start, build a shed, re-power a defer with a duramax and finish it before you. All because I can't wait for you to bl@#$% finish. Please pull your finger out!!! :bat:

Back on the job a little bit. Got a Puma condensor and mounted that. I've had to fit it back to front. This will require me to modify the alloy pipes that bolt to the outlets. Bit annoyed with the condition of the condensor sold to me as bent like a banana. Will clean it up later and straighten it.

Need to get winch now and work out my bull bar and transcooler fitment and front will be finished (besides paint). Cheers Gaz
Started on the exhaust.

Looked for ages for a 4 inch flex coupling and found one advertised in a kenworth Catologue so bought one. I drew flanges in autocad last year and had a mob in Adelaide laser cut them out of 10mm stainless. Then Tigged them together.

Took longer to find enough fittings to purge some gas into the pipe than the actual welding. Cant really do much more on the exhaust as need to get my front drive shaft sorted. Its bit of a show stopper till i get one made to clear the auto box. Hope to get that underway this week.
Cheers for now

I would love to drive this Beast into a dealer and as if they could test drive,as the Puma seems bit down on power.
Great work.
Been doing a little bit on the ute. I have completed most of the muffler. I used 1 X 90degree bend and a section of 4 inch and 6 inch stainless for the external part. Going to run single four inch in and twin out. I have started on the bullbar, just need more steel to finish. Got a 12000lb winch sitting in the shed too. Waiting on tailshafts to come from the states so hope that will be here in the next week or so. Cant do much more on the exhaust until the tailshaft are in so i can plumb around the front tailshaft so another road block

Hi Gaz,
Good to see you are still making progress.
What axles did the ute come with, does it have a Sals rear?
Will you be using them or are you going to upgrade to something else?
If you aren't going to utilise them I'd be very interested in making use of the rear if it is a Sals. I am looking for something to replace the ****ty p38 in the rear of my 130.
Keep it going
XSiVHi Josh, The ute came with a Salisbury rear and i bought a set of MAXI's before they shut down. I also got a Salisbury front as shown earlier in a post. The only upgrade i will do is install some of keiths 35 spline upgrades later if required. Good luck trying to replace your P38 in the rear! Glad i got a 2001 model and got the strong one!https://www.aulro.com/afvb/images/im...013/09/470.jpgQuote:
