    hi Tony
the bad news will be the COST.

when I rebuilt my engine, I took the trouble to have the camshaft radius ground and hard chromed, also did the same to the rockers and hard chromed.
It gives a much longer lasting coating/finish to those hard working parts. They will last a long time if you then use good oil and change it twice a year.
I mean good oil not elcheapo from K-Mart or Big W.
The machine shop where you took the bits will probably know of a plating works , or someone who will do the work. The actual cost of that fine tuning will not be much in the overall cost of the restoration.

I notice the main gearleaver is a around the wrong way. Are you just temporary mounting it?

I think that he has done it that way because he prefers to go backwards normally, please note that Tony now belongs to the BLUE tribe and everything is reversed................
but of course he may be building it for left hand drive?
